Welcome to the Black Thrive Stop and Search dashboard.

The dashboard is designed to make stop and search data and insights from it more accessible to researchers and the general public.

An important goal is to ensure that the key issues surrounding stop and search are highlighted to aid a more comprehensive and impactful public discussion of the usefulness of stop and search policy and the negative impact it can have on people.

To this end, in addition to our own knowledge (which, as a Black-led organisation, incorporates insights on stop and search from a Black perspective) we have drawn on the expertise of key stakeholders (such as experts by lived experience, justice advocates and activists, and researchers) to direct what is the most important information to provide and what are the best ways of presenting it.
